Although the improvement of photocatalytic property has been reported to be a promising strategy to enhance the anti-fouling of the membranes, the inclusion of a
QPVA/PDDA Anion Crosslinking Exchange Membranes
Quaternization of ammonium polyvinyl alcohol combined with polydially dimethylammoiniun chloride can be used for anion exchange membranes. This is the potential candidate for anion exchanhe
Refinery Wastewater Treatment
Our researcher have conduct a research in many field, including petroleum refinery. We are proud to present you the research about petroleum refinery wastewater treatment
Who are we?
MeR-C (Membrane Research Center) Laboratory of Universitas Diponegoro was established in 2009. It focused on membrane development and its application. Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T. was the initiator to set up the laboratory which have focused on membrane technology and water treatment. Until todays, this laboratory has produced several products such as water treatment technology (self-produced aquadest), industrial waste water treatment, sugar refinery and also chitosan as sided product. Besides building for waste water technology, MeR-C also conducts research and writing article, journal and patent as our contribution to the Indonesian research progress.
Today MeR-C was filled by some active Researchers such as Prof. Nita Aryanti, S.T., M.T., Ph.D.; Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Widiasa S.T., M.T.; Prof. Dr. Tutuk Djoko Kusworo S.T. M.Eng; Ir. Nur Rokhati, M.T.; and Titik Istirokhatun, S.T., M.Sc. Another member who also have major contribution are postgraduate and doctoral students where they focused on membrane technology and advanced material like electro spinning, hollow fiber membranes, and glucosamine development.
In the future, our target is MeR-C will become the center of gravity for all about membrane technology in Indonesia and create new technology for eco green technology.
